Free tours of the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library are offered to any individual or group. Different tours are available depending on the age and interests of the group. Tours can focus on the Children's Department alone or both the Adult and Children's Departments. They can include a story time, or a brief lesson about how to find materials using the online catalog. Tours can also, with special arrangment, be made to highlight "behind the scenes" aspects of the library, such as cataloging and processing.

Children's Library 101-(Preschool Through Grade 6)

Our Children's Department also offers free classes on the basics of finding books in the library and using library resources. If you are a parent of homeschoolers, a scout leader, or a teacher that wishes to reinforce these topics outside of the classroom, we will taylor a program to your needs.
