The Friends raised over $280,000 before the opening of the new library. Fundraising efforts have allowed the Friends to provide the library with:

• Fifty-three computer workstations, sixteen printers, and a multimedia projector
• Appliances for the Community Room and staff kitchens
• Special Programs for adults and children, including concerts, the Summer Reading Program, and Children's Book Discussions
• Toys and furnishings for the Children's Room, including our new train table
• Museum Passes for free and discounted admission to area attractions
