Downloadable E-Books & Audiobooks

The library's OverDrive
service provides downloadable eBooks and audiobooks for a wealth of
devices including Kindle, iPad, Nook, Nexus, Surface, Sony Reader,
and more. The process of downloading varies depending upon the device.

or app to begin the process.
NEW - eReaders Available
for Circulation
The Library now has a Kindle Touch, a Kindle Fire, an iPad,
and a Nook eBook reader available for patrons to borrow. Borrowers
must be 18 years old and a Monroe resident, library staff member,
or member of Friends of the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library. Monroe
and out-of-town residents can also use the eReaders in the library
for one hour a day if they are available. eReaders are available at
the Reference Desk on a first come, first serve basis and can be borrowed
for a 21 day loan period with no renewals. eReaders must be returned
in person to the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library Adult
